So, I'm in Europe for the first time in my life. It is about 8:00pm here but I'm 6 hours ahead of the United States. I've decided to leave my laptop on U.S. time, so that it can help me remember what time it is at home. I have recently signed a contract to play for the Marburg Blue Dolphins women's professional basketball team. My flight left Detroit about 24 hours ago. When I arived in Germany, (1 am U.S./7 am Germany) the club manager Bjorn and his girlfriend Christina picked me up and drove me about an hour north here to Marburg. I'm living in an apartment with Lori Crisman, she's from Illinois, but played at Western Michigan University. Everyone has been really nice to me. It feels kind of strange to know that most people speak English but I don't speak their language. I am going to try to learn as much German as I can. I'm really excited to play! I'm going to try to make the most out of this oppurtunity as possible.
